It was closed a few months ago due to rain so I got to buy something this time on a very warm day. Woo. Chai was decent and the breakfast sandwich came from a local business and was good. We were here walking Hudson Gardens and stopped by. Very good location.

Amazing place. A great outdoor coffee shop right on the Platte river trail. Lots of parking for bikes, clean restrooms, and great coffee. I had the sausage, egg, and cheese breakfast sammie. I felt it was above average for a coffee house sandwich.

I hope this place never closes down. It amazing coffee and it’s convenient you are walking/jogging along the path. The people that manage this are so friendly!

I make this my turn around point while biking and stop here for a coffee and a snack before heading back. It's right along the bike bath and river so it is a nice place to stop and have a break. There are shaded areas under the pergola and trees. The staff are always very friendly and helpful. They also have a water fountain to refill your water bottle, bike racks, and and bike work station.

Beautiful place! It's a great experience. Joggers and walkers come off the Platte River trail. We parked and walked through the Hudson Gardens!

Right off the trail and designed for runners and bikers passing by! This place is great for loose leaf teas. There is coffee, kombucha on tap (!) and snacks, though we didn't try any of those today. Some nice seating spread out (for COVID), and I suspect after COVID there will be picnic tables, too. Right by a great little nature center, too. Excellent!

The chai tea latte and spinach/artichoke panini I had were fantastic. Seriously hit the spot for a quick pit stop on a warm summer day in August as I biked along the Platte. Super friendly staff to top it off! Would highly recommend visiting!

I ride the platte trail many times over the last six months and had yet to try this spot until today. I wish I had visited sooner! They had a cup full of dog treats next to their cash register. The vibes were wholesome. The South Platte River Mary Cary trails span over twenty miles and connect downtown Denver to Littleton and Englewood. Unfortunately, the trail is not shaded and there are about two public restroom and water station spots along this stretch. Nixon serves as an important rest point where people biking can catch a break, use the restrooms, and get a drink. I wish there are more coffee shops and bakeries that are right next to the trail. The ones that exist such as Table Public House and Nixon get a lot of love from non-car users. It was so busy this morning with many bikers and pedestrians out and about enjoying a beautiful sunny November day. One improvement that would be awesome is if the shop offers for stay mugs/cups to reduce on single use plastic packaging. There were a lot of bikers who hung out to enjoy their drinks before heading out so it would’ve been nice to save on their single-use cups. I did thoroughly enjoyed my 32 oz peachy lavender kombucha that they had on tap. I loved the variety of food and beverages that they offered. I hope this shop continues to thrive. Us bicyclists rely on them greatly!
